first-time-with-kids Posted March 17, 2005 #1 Share Posted March 17, 2005 Hello everyone, new on here. Cruising in June. Tell me: - anyone been on the new Sea Princess since it came back from P&O - anyone have any tips for us first timers, like maybe getting straight to the dining room to get a good table (as my mum told me)? All help appreciated. Cheers. Nick
Toto2Kansas Posted March 17, 2005 #2 Share Posted March 17, 2005 Sorry, but you aren't going to find anyone that can help you with this. The Sea Princess does not return from P&O until the beginning of next month.
cruisingfreak Posted March 17, 2005 #3 Share Posted March 17, 2005 The ship hasn't come back yet from P&O. First cruise as Sea Princess is April 28. Minette
susancruzs Posted March 17, 2005 #4 Share Posted March 17, 2005 Hopefully, some of the first cruisers in May will start to report back on how the Sea Princess is! She'll be in Southampton for 2 wks April 14-28 for changeover from Adonia back to the Sea. When you look at the pictures of the Dawn or Sun and then look on P&O at the Adonia, not really many differences. When you get onboard, if you asked for traditional dining there is usually a card with your table number on it. I always go check it out to see where it is, if it's a large table as requested. The Princess Patter will list a time where you can go see about changing arrangements if you need to. If you chose Personal choice, there have been threads about it works. If you have other questions, ask away! Susie
first-time-with-kids Posted March 18, 2005 Author #5 Share Posted March 18, 2005 Thanks Suzie. Just after knowing all those obvious things you all know and we have no idea. We have booked traditional dining on the basis that we can eat at 8.30 if we want and if not just do something else, thats how it works isnt it? The booze threads are interesting, think we'll take a box of wine just so we have something in the room. Nick
