NancyIL Posted June 11, 2011 #26 Share Posted June 11, 2011 Sorry if I wasn't clear. The Amsterdam made a couple of 7 day trips to Glacier Bay last year in early May after which she began her 14 day runs. My Hubbard Glacier comment pertained to that trip to Glacier Bay. This year the Volendam went to the Marjorie and Ross glaciers during our Glacier Bay portion of the cruise and not the Hubbard. We did not make it to any glaciers on the Tracy Arm portion of this year's cruise. Then you were at Glacier Bay on last year's 7-day and not Hubbard? NancyIL Posted June 11, 2011 #27 Share Posted June 11, 2011 My Hubbard Glacier comment pertained to that trip to Glacier Bay. Hubbard is not one of the glaciers in Glacier Bay.
sfels Posted June 11, 2011 #28 Share Posted June 11, 2011 I figured that out...geography and math were not my strong points in school. Anyway, in 2010 the Amsterdam went to Juneau, Sitka, Glacier Bay, Ketichkan and Victoria from Seattle. This year the Volendam went to Tracy Arm, Juneau, Skagway, Glacier Bay and Ketichkan from Vancouver. Both were 7 day cruises.
