Homer-Transportation from Spit to town

We are aware that there is an HOHO shuttle from the Spit to town but does anyone know if you can get a cab instead and how much it would cost?

I don't know how much it would cost, but there were cabs available right at the pier when we disembarked in Homer last year. We took the free shuttle to the Spit, not the HOHO they offered to town for $15 pp. Maybe someone on this year's sailings will be able to answer your question about cost.

 

We're getting a rental car this year in Homer and they said they will meet us at the pier and when we're done, we can leave it there and they will pick it up. We booked thru Avis at their airport location. Not going til the Aug. 5th sailing - if you're after that, I could provide you with more info then.
