Carry Off Luggage

When we were on Mariner, we were given the option of carrying off our luggage provided we did not have too much. After two cruises, we figure we can pack lighter and will be reducing our load. Will we be able to carry off our own luggage when we sail Explorer in October. We have a 12:30 flight to New England and want to not have to cut it close.
