edgee Posted June 7, 2011 #1 Share Posted June 7, 2011 DW and I are veteran cruisers but have never sailed with Oceania. We are considering the Caribbean on Marina. I do enjoy playing blackjack at higher level tables and I was wondering whether Oceania normally has $25.00 tables open in the evenings. Do they have hand shuffle or do they use shuffle machines at the tables and does anyone know if they extend casino credit through markers rather than charging to shipboard account with a 5% fee? Thanks for any information anyone can offer.

Should you desire to arrange for a special line of credit, the Casino manager will work with you, but you'll need to speak to him in advance. They don't seem to authorize significant credit on the gaming floor.
edgee Posted June 7, 2011 Author #3 Share Posted June 7, 2011 Thanks for your response. Are the shuffle machines used at all blackjack tables and are they the continuous shuffle type where the dealer puts the used cards back in the machine as she discards them or are they the type where one full shoe worth of cards is shuffled by a machine and the dealer alternates, using one shoe while the other is being shuffled?
