EotS - Can shows be booked before boarding?

On the Explorer of the Seas, can shows (ice, or other shows) be booked prior to being on the ship either online or through RCI customer service?

None of the shows in the main theatre can be booked. You just show up, first come, get first choice for seats.

 

The ice shows do require tickets, and I think you can only get them when on board.

Like the previous poster said, the only show you will need to "book" for is the ice show and tickets are picked up onboard.

 

For our 9 night cruise, we were able to pick up times for 3 different shows times on the first sea day. They were available at a specified time in the Lounge on board. Walked up, said what time I wanted, how many tickets I needed, and I was done.

 

It's very easy.

 

For the other shows do make sure you arrive 10-15 minutes early if you want to get a "good" seat or have seats together. For the ice show, people get there a half hour in advance....we got there about 20 minutes before the show started and had a hard time finding two seats together.
