rwstout Posted June 9, 2011 #1 Share Posted June 9, 2011 We will be in Victoria off a cruise from 12 to 11pm and we dont really want to do the cruise ships excursions. Is there fairly inexpensive transportation around the dock. We are wanting to go to butterfly garden and then down town or maybe the other way around. Any suggestions? P.S. We will be there July
pizzadog Posted June 10, 2011 #2 Share Posted June 10, 2011 If you are walking folk it isn't that far from Ogden Point to downtown Victoria and it is a very scenic walk along the oceanfront - depending on the weather of course. Once in downtown you can easily do the butterfly gardens and other activities on the waterfront. There are cabs to take you downtown as well, not sure about buses. You can probably book a Butchart Gardens tour and others right at the Tourism BC booth by the Fairmont Empress Hotel, which you can't miss once you are at the inner harbour. Enjoy Victoria, it is a beautiful city.:)

cruiseryyc Posted June 10, 2011 #4 Share Posted June 10, 2011 Just to be clear, the Butterfly Gardens are not in downtown Victoria. They are out near Butchart Gardens.
