Riviera Deck Sea Princess

We are considering a balcony cabin on Riviera Deck on the Sea Princess. Has anyone had one of these cabins?

We realise that Sea is smaller - have cruised both the Dawn and Sun so aware of the ship layout but normally choose a BC on Caribe deck.

Any comments on the Riviera deck cabins appreciated - would be worried about noise from above and also any problems with motion at the front of the ship.

Thanks

Riviera Deck on Sea Princess last August. Great location - up one flight of stairs for the food;)! No noise from above whatsoever. Can't compare this balcony with others because it was our first Princess cruise, but we liked it enought to book a similar cabin on the Emerald!

Our very last balcony cabin (before we moved up to mini suites and suites) was on the Riviera Deck on the Dawn Princess (sister to the Sea). We had absolutely no problem with noise, and it was a nice location. We didn't feel any more motion and we were in R324, which is one of the three furthest forward balcony cabins on this deck. Since the cabins aren't actually located all the way forward (as on some ships), you really aren't in that area that would get a lot of extra motion. :)
