Gym on sun princess

Hi,

Hoping a recent Sun cruiser can let us know about the gym on Sun Princess. Last time we sailed on Dawn they had revamped the gym so that all equipment (other than the rower and weights) had TV screens. We use the stepper heaps so it helps to pass the time watching shows.

Also- we used to hate the beverage set up on Dawn where the tea and coffee were inside the buffet and queues collided. After the 2009 refit they had moved the beverages out of the food area (basically flipped it so it was facing the seating area not the buffet area). This may sound trivial but it certainly made a huge difference to the dining experience.

If anyone has sailed on both- given Sun's age is she in much the same condition as Dawn or more worn out?

Was on Sun last Dec and then Dawn this March and as far as could tell the two ships seemed to identical with regard to both gym and drinks area in Horizon Court.

 

Discovered whilst on Dawn that you could borrow headphones for the gym if you did not have your own with you.

 

Drinks stations were on the sitting side so it was possible to get a drink without going into the food area, altho it could get crowded with people trying to find a seat etc.

Thanks Sagittarius- it is great to hear they are identical- we love to eat so have to spend lots of time in the gym working it off. The screens really help.

Those treadmills are situated beautifully for ocean/port views. The headphones and screens certainly add to the enjoyment.
