New to Princess

Have been on 10 cruises, 5 with Carnival and 5 with Royal Carribean....We really love RC but have never been to Southern Carribean and thinking of taking Crown or Emerald as RC does not go Southern unless you leave from San Juan. I was just wondering what to expect from Princess.

I've done Southern Caribbean itineraries a few times and have two booked within the next 9 months. I have sailed from both SJ and FLL. I like the Southern Caribbean cruises the best and will probably to the 10 day on the Emerald in the spring of 2013.

As I've learned over the years from CC, Princess is very comparable to RCCL. There are some differences. Princess has fresh water pools, self-serve laundry ($1 to wash and dry each!), food is subjective so I won't comment. I think Princess has embarkation down to a science. I've done Carnival and I think they are apples to oranges compared to Princess.
