Does anyone know where O docks for Ho Chi Min City and how far is the port from the city?

Normally (as in Jan of this year) they dock in the city. That is an advantage Oceania has over the larger ships. In this screenshot, the dock is seen in relation to the Rex Hotel. It is about a 20 min walk. They ran a shuttle in Jan but the walk would have been quicker. The co-ordinates for the dock are 10.767206,106.707863

Hi

In April we berthed up near the centre of HCMC(Saigon).

One needs to check where the vessel will dock closer to the date as it maybe full and you can be berthed about 90 minutes away in the new dock area and which will limit what you can do.

We found out the berthing details from local travel agents in HCMC whoi had all the details etc.

A;so for Vietnam be aware if you are going to DaNang. There are 2 ports for berthing. There is DaNang and there is Chang May which is also an industrial port but 90 minutes by road from DaNang. There are no villages at Chang May and the roads are quite rough. There is nothing here fir you. If this is your port then use local travel company's to arrange a tour as it is cheaper and better. EG Check out Ann's tours in HCMC. :):):)
