Himself Posted June 18, 2011 #2 Share Posted June 18, 2011 David: Thanks for giving us another fine report on fleet location. This way I will not get up tomorrow and say "Where is the Fleet?"
Rare kazu Posted June 18, 2011 #3 Share Posted June 18, 2011 Thanks very much for the report David - I do hope the Maasdam will be ok in Montreal - there is a huge rainfall & thunderstorm warning for Montreal
Travelrd Posted June 18, 2011 #4 Share Posted June 18, 2011 david....whenever i click on the link Webcam: http://www.vancouver.com/webcam/north/ i never see any ships. at the top of the webcam shot, it says the date 4/21/2011. does that mean this picture was taken on that date and that is why i never see a ship in the camera? can you tell me more about this webcam. in the past, i've always been able to view ships from this webcam. cheers and thanks for your fleet postings
Winters in NZ Posted June 18, 2011 #5 Share Posted June 18, 2011 Montreal is a lovely place...we are only a 2 hour drive from the city, but HAL must be taking a calculated risk to return to the port. Perhaps the busing issues, expenses and logistics associated with this spring's flooding situation are worth the gamble.
trvlcrzy Posted June 18, 2011 #6 Share Posted June 18, 2011 I think something is wrong with the North Vancouver webcam. I wish there was a "contact us" link somewhere on there. I seem to recall that the same webcam was the victim of a virus attack last summer... I know it was one of the Vancouver cameras... and I believe it was north. Himself Posted June 18, 2011 #7 Share Posted June 18, 2011 The Elliott Bay Marina Camera is on the fritts also. The picture is dated June 2nd and each time I look when I know one of the HAL ships is in port it shows nothing except this picture which is now over two weeks old and taken on a day when all ships were at sea. Time will tell if that works. Thanks, David
