One last question before I sail on Saturday

Recommended Posts

ok maybe not the absolute last one but how good or bad are the currency exchanges on the ships. I know they wont be the best but cant decide how much we will need but would rather get a bit more if needed on board providing i am not going to be ripped off.

If you're not buying a lot of extra currency, the difference in exchange rates shouldn't be much to worry about. I think we found the ship reasonable when we bought Sheckles from them.

You can always use an ATM on shore - but check your Bank's small print - there will probably be a % or fixed amount charged when you get your statement. If it's say, £2.50 per transaction you would perhaps think that wasn't too bad on £100 - but it would be a lot on £10!!! You might also find exchanges on land offering decent exchange rates.

You must be feeling very excited now, infoqueen. :D Have a good one!!! ;)
