Fishon28 Posted June 23, 2011 #27 Share Posted June 23, 2011 We had to take a break from cruising because of a young child. We did smaller vacations while he was between 2-5. Now we're ready again in just a few days!!! I am more spontaneous when we book. I could never book a cruise 1-2 years in advance and then wait. I usually book 3-6months in advance. On our first cruise in 1998, I booked the trip 3 weeks before sailing. We were planning to go to Cancun but decided on a cruise last minute. And until this day, my cruise aboard the Imagination was still my favorite. John Heald was our cruise director.
Philly Steve Posted June 23, 2011 #28 Share Posted June 23, 2011 Funny, after our very first cruise, I had that ashore rocking sensation for days which somehow extended the trip. We rented just about every movie we could find that was set aboard a ship. I felt like a VIP for the better part of a week, simply because we had taken a cruise. Addictive? YES!!
