Did someone say beer:confused::D

Rumor has it...... Heineken and Miller Lite...oh and Amstel Lite.......this has been reported on the Conquest and Miracle.......not sure about the Legend......

Ok found one:

There was draft Heineken & Miller Lite on the Legend. But only in a couple bars... casino bar & (maybe) sports bar. I can't remember the price, but it wasn't much less than bottled beers.

That's what I am trying to find out, we sail on the Legend in September and was just curious.

I have wondered why you couldn't get a pitcher of beer, anyone know why? I hope this is true or in the process of becoming true.

I checked with John Heald back in March and he told me all ships can sell by the pitcher - Sports Bars and Lido Deck Bars. We were on the Paradise and they did not hook them up until after I asked about pitchers of beer which was odd. I was also told it would be Heineken and Amstel Light. Possibly they are letting the Bar Managers decide which brews to have on tap? We paid $20 something including the gratuity. Heres a hint - make friends with your barkeep and they will store it in the fridge so it stays icy cold....... at least ours did.:)

Is this allowed?:eek:

On the Beer Snob - Thirsty Frog thread some pitchers were mentioned, but I didn't see anything about the Legend. One poster did mention the Atrium bartender kept a pitcher cold for them, so I will be looking to do the same next cruise!:cool:

Alas, you will be sailing before me, so I hope you will report back!

Cheers, my friend!:D

Hiya Fintoo, I will definitely report back. Was trying to book the Fascination out of Jax, but found an awesome price on my aft wrap on the Legend and couldn't pass it up. Want to get back to HMC!!
