concierge class and labadee

we will be sailing cc class next winter, i read somewhere that we get a gold card, does anyone know if we can get on barefoot beach with this card, on RC last year we needed it to get on the bearfoot beach, but we had a suite. thanks in advance

There is another active thread about this beach. Celebrity has not gone there often and it is uncertain if they even use this beach or what the amenities might be if they do...Will have to wait until the next Celebrity cruise goes to Labadee.

If Celebrity restricts access to Barefoot Beach as does RCI, it likely would be for suite guests only. Nearly half the ship is Concierge Class or higher. The "gold" color of the stateroom card is irrelevant. On RCI suites have "gold" cards but on Celebrity suites have grey cards. You would not be permitted over a suite because of the color of your card. We likely will not know until late this fall how Celebrity will handle Barefoot Beach unless they issue a press release or statement beforehand.
