Using both a credit card and Disney Rewards points?

I'm filling out my online check-in, and have a question. I have about $400 in Disney Rewards points that I want to use, however I know that they aren't going to cover our entire guest folio.

 

I'm thinking I need to put down my credit card info online, and when I board have guest services credit my ship account with the Disney Rewards off the card.

 

Is this the correct procedure?

Yes, that is correct. The concierge team can also take care of having the rewards card applied to your account. No having to stand in the long lines at guest services.:)
