DVD players

Some time ago we heard rumors about cabin upgrades that would include DVD players. Has anyone seen that on any ship?

And, I guess the next question is has anyone brought a player and plugged into the cabin TV?

would love to have movies in the cabin, but don't enjoy watching on a laptop or other small screen...

I believe I read about some suites have DVD players, but I can't say for sure. I don't believe they let you bring DVD players on to the ship. You could use a lap top and play them on it.

And even if you did bring a DVD player and were able to hook it up, there is no way for you to change the video input source. That button does not exist on Carnival's TV remotes.

hav seen the compatiable A/V jacks in the backs of the upgraded TVs but not actual DVD players.
