gregbarbra Posted March 20, 2005 #1 Share Posted March 20, 2005 We would like a tour of a tequila "factory" in Puerto Vallarta, but we dont want to be herded onto some bus that takes us to all the other places such as "shopping". We just want the factory tour by itself. Does anyone have a recommendation for a particular place, and can you just go there by taxi and not be part of a group? thanks
Cauvet Posted March 20, 2005 #2 Share Posted March 20, 2005 When we were in Cabo last week, we asked the information lady at the kiosk where we could go to taste tequila. She sent us to a very nice small shop on a side street and we tasted some very nice tequila, the fellow in the store explained everything about tequila making and answered our questions, and we bought a very nice bottle of Anejo to bring home. I know there are nice tasting places in PV as well.
gregbarbra Posted March 22, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted March 22, 2005 Well, we are not so interested in tasting tequila, but more interested in seeing it being made (and tasting of course as well).
