Transportation to the Waterlot Inn

We'll be on the NCL Dawn in August and I have made reservations for the Waterlot for a Monday night. What is the best way to get there? Bus or taxi or a ferry combination? I would greatly appreciate any help as this will be the first time in Bermuda for all of us.

 

If bus is the answer, is it a long walk from the stop to the restaurant?

There is no ferry to the Waterlot, your best bet would be via bus or taxi. You'll probably have an easy enough time getting a bus to Waterlot, it's the bus back that might be a bit trickier.

 

If you decide to go by bus, you'll want to catch the no. 8 bus to get there. The bus stop is right next to Waterlot. The bus to return to Dockyard is across the street from Waterlot.

Bus or taxi, the ferry doesn't go there. The bus stop is right outside the restaurant so that's easy, but the bus (no. 8) only runs twice an hour in the early evening, and once an hour later.

You may find the best compromise is getting the bus there and a taxi back; hopefully since it's a posh restaurant there'll be some taxis there - it can be hard to get one willing to go all the way out to Dockyard later in the evening.
