Dream or Freedom?

Just got back from a great cruise on the Valor and we are already thinking about next summer....

 

8 days on the Freedom: St. Thomas, Antiqua, Nassau, Tortola

 

or

 

7 days on the Dream: St. Thomas, St. Martin, Nassau

 

The kids think the Dream would be fun since we just sailed a Conquest ship and of course they love the water are on the Dream.

 

DH and I think 8 days sounds better than 7 and the ports on Freedom sound more unique. But I also think the Dream looks pretty cool though I am a little worried about the crowds.

 

Has anyone sailed both? What are your thoughts?

We just sailed on the Freedom in May and I loved these ports! Especially Tortola and Antiqua. Enjoyed the serenity deck too! We are now booked on the Dream for next May and I can't wait to see her. You can't go wrong with either one!

I agree with the above posts. You really can't go wrong with either one. I've sailed the Dream twice and just got back from doing the Eastern route last week & had an excellent time. The ports are all absolutely beautiful and so much fun! However, I'd probably pick Freedom because there is more ports, 8 days, and Antigua & Tortola are new to me! I feel however that your kids may be more active and busy on the Dream since it has all the bells & whistles. Good luck with your decision! :)

I did Freedom last year and the ports where amazing. One of my best trips. you have to go to the baths if you go it was to die for.

depends if you are choosing for the ports or the ship experience. I can say that the DREAM is my favorite ship...but the other ports are better
