Tell me the difference between taking...

Actually I have read that you can stay at other properties on Paradise Island, get a day room, and have full access to the Atlantis pools and waterslides.

I would check out the Comfort Suites via this website: http://www.nassauparadiseisland.com/

I am positive people have made "day room" reservations, paid considerably less than staying at Atlantis, and had full-access to the property.

Good Luck,

I was just browsing through here thinking about a Disney cruise and found your post. I just came off the RCCL Navigator of the Seas on Saturday and did the Atlantis excursion through that line. It was my only complaint of the week. I thought it was a total waste of money. I think we paid $50 and adult and $30 for each kid. When you get to the Bahamas and come off the pier - if you walk towards the tent market you will see boats that take you over to Atlantis for $6 round trip. From there we still walked a few blocks to Atlantis - there are signs to follow. Then into the hotel - cut through the casino and into the main lobby. I don't know anything about Disney's excursion there, but with RC you couldn't use the pools anyway.
