26 bus copenhagen ports

I see from the posts that it is possible to take the number 26 bus from both Freeport and Langelinie to somewhere in the center of Copenhagen.

Does the bus come into the port or must we walk outside?

What is a good central sightseeing place to get off in the town center?

What are the main stops in the center that we can pick up the bus to return to either port ?

Thanks for the link to the map. I'll be taking the train-the bus doesn't run on Saturday or Sunday.
