Rare l2f Posted June 30, 2011 #1 Share Posted June 30, 2011 Has anyone heard if the itinerary that includes Costa Rica & Panama is being eliminated? Looking on Carnival's website if looks as if February 2012 is the last sailing. I asked my PVP and of course they don't know. They don't coordinate the ports. Thanks
golfadj Posted June 30, 2011 #2 Share Posted June 30, 2011 Sure hope not as we did it once and loved it and want to do it again.
Rare l2f Posted June 30, 2011 Author #3 Share Posted June 30, 2011 We are planning a cruise for late fall or next spring. This was one of the options but also the most expensive for the fall. So we were considering doing it for our next cruise when we could book ES. But now if it isn't going to be around after February 2012, we may nee to change our plans. elcuchio24 Posted June 30, 2011 #4 Share Posted June 30, 2011 Sure wouldn't think so, they seem like popular ports and really aren't THAT far away from Roatan/Belize, etc. But stranger things have happened.
ChefSusan Posted June 30, 2011 #5 Share Posted June 30, 2011 I noticed that Freedom will be doing a more Eastern Itinerary starting around that time... quite a shame as Costa Rica and Panama were two of our favorite ports! Guess if anyone is interested in those ports they should book now!
AdrenalineRush Posted July 1, 2011 #6 Share Posted July 1, 2011 This is a great itinerary....Panama and Costa Rica are places to do some very adventurous and educational excursions.
kyrisong1 Posted July 1, 2011 #7 Share Posted July 1, 2011 We've been there twice and enjoyed it so much, I'd love to go back to both places. I bet it's just being taken over by a different ship, I cannot imagine them getting rid of those ports, they are awesome. Carole
