Matt&Carolyn Posted January 18, 2012 #76 Share Posted January 18, 2012 Thanks so much for the great review! We'll be on the Pride in a few weeks, but our young kids will be with us. :) I know it's been awhile, but did you by any chance check out the Camp Carnival area? And were the "Family Friendly" shows actually safe for kids, or just without the bad language?
Herbaltees Posted January 18, 2012 #77 Share Posted January 18, 2012 You can wear what you want on Carnival too, ....just aren't going to make everyone happy.:rolleyes:I should clarify that we don't do the MDR on formal nights. Wouldn't want to upset anyone, but we do come out of our cabin.:) :D This made me literally, laugh out loud!

If you want to look at camp schedules send me an email @ serene56@aol.com put in camp pages and the age group you are looking for in the subject line. the 2-5 and the 6-8 is located on deck 5 all the way forward. We hit some pretty rocky waters which made that area sway a great deal. We went to the family friendly show each time-- yes, it was safe for the kids. (we sailed with a 5 year old on the Pride in February) and can tell you that stuff was way over her head.. but young teens would get it for sure=lol I think it lasted for less then 30 minutes

You've probably already been on your cruise by now, but I did check out CC, and it was about the same as I've seen before. Hopefully Serene gave you some good info too. The Family Friendly shows were pretty good, but still a little PG. Do you know if the Pride has the Drinks On Us Card promotion in the casino? T.I.A. PG Sorry, I'm not really sure. We don't go to the casino, so I'm not sure what they offered. If this is a CCL program, I would assume they have it.
