Calling Long Distance on Cruise Ship

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I have another question. If we want to call long distance while on the cruise ship (I will be on Princess cruise), is it possible to use a calling card to make the calls. We all know that cruises charge a lot for long distance so I want to see if we can use our own calling card.

Thanks,

Your best bet is to do your calling from a pay phone in port. Then you may be able to use your calling card if you have worldwide calling and the access numbers that many calling cards require for calling from a foreign location.

If you call from the ship you are using their satellite link which leaves you at their mercy.
