SailorManBilly Posted July 27, 2011 #276 Share Posted July 27, 2011 Great review and pics! Do you have any pictures of your D1 cabin? We just booked a d1 on Allure and I'm dying to see what the bigger balcony looks like! Thanks!

tjjbcolombe Posted September 18, 2011 #278 Share Posted September 18, 2011 I haven't been in years and was hoping to take my family including teenagers. I'd appreciate any more info on Chakanaab if you don't mind. Don't mean to highjack the thread - I can't figure out how to send you a message! Sorry! Thanks in advance! NativeTexan PS - LOVE the review - we leave in 2 weeks!!
fatcattravel Posted September 19, 2011 #279 Share Posted September 19, 2011 Loved your review! Did you get a chance to check out the spa area? What did you like most about the Solarium? We have dinner reservations the first night. But I have heard mixed reviews.
tomko2 Posted October 1, 2011 #280 Share Posted October 1, 2011 Yes, they do. Basic cocktails, not LIT's, lol. and, every time we went to the Diamond lounge it was quiet. At most there were 3 tables of people. Loving your review and pictures. Sailing on Allure for 5 nights in January. This is so helpful. BTW, what are LIT's? Thanks to all for the great info on this tread. Kathy:)
4kidsplusty Posted October 2, 2011 #281 Share Posted October 2, 2011 we are going on this ship nov 5th. when you pre reserve your shows do you get specific seats or do you sit anywhere's
CroozinFamily Posted October 2, 2011 #282 Share Posted October 2, 2011 You sit anywhere. I'm not sure if people with fancy shmancy suites or some high status get special seating, but if you're just a regular joe, then it's open seating. The venues are set up really well and I think all the seats are pretty good seats. Whether we arrived before the doors even opened, or 10 minutes before the show, we were always happy with our seats. js Posted October 2, 2011 #283 Share Posted October 2, 2011 We didnt book the Iberostar online, DH called them to book. They dont take a deposit, we asked for an email confirmation and they happily sent one. Im trying to find a deal on a short land vaca there this August for a few days. Great Review! Thank you VERY much! I added Izumi to our list of restaurants. We all love sushi. May I ask you about Iberostar. Is it in Foulmouth? Did you book a night or do they do day/cruise rates? Thanks so much!
