Duty free liquor packing info pls

Does Princess customarily put purchased duty free liquor into boxes so you have a pretty good breakage free experience in carrying it off the ship? Celebrity did, but NCL did not, and I had breakage within the suitcase (and it was not due to airline handling. It was my own packing. I'd allowed room in my large suitcase for boxed liquor so didn't have "stuffing" for loose).

 

Also, does Princess deliver said purchased liquor to your cabin the last night, or do you have to go to the store to pick it up? Again, Celebrity delivered and NCL required you go thru a madhouse to pick it up. Thanks for the information.

Whenever I purchased liquor onboard it arrived in a box on the final day before disembarkation.

Just bought two bottles on the CB last week. I bought them the last night of the cruise. They gave me the option of bag or box and I was able to take them with me.

The boxes are a little awkward to carry home ( especially if you are flying domestic), so we either take our own bubble wrap or ask for some at the liqour store onboard.
