San Juan Hotels

I have looked for a San Juan departure thread, but cant find anything.

 

Any info on hotels within walking distance to the ship would be great.

 

We have stayed at the condado once, and the old San Juan. but would like to be more central to the ship and shopping.

 

Its been 13yrs since we have sailed out of SJ and figure it has changed a bit.

The ship sails out of PanAm pier, which is close to condado area, but nothing I can think of in walking distance per se. The Caribe Hilton. Conrad Condado are close, but for shopping in OSJ you would need to take the bus or cab.
