Recommendations for tour company pre cruise Australia

We have a few quotes and some ideas but I always find these forums to be a wealth of good information.

 

Can anyone recommend a good tour company for an 8 - 10 day pre cruise land tour of Australia. We want something upscale and different and that can be customized?

You have not said which parts Of Australia you wish to tour.

What about the tour Oprah did? If it was good enough for her.......

They are a company called Outback Encounter.

I know you are talking about January so maybe not the best time for Cairns although I think it is the nicest area, (Port Douglas, Cape Tribulation and Reef and Rainforest tours) They can all be done by you without going through a tour group, then staying where you wish.

January is a great time for Tasmania which is beautiful and of course Victoria, South Australia although not much in South Australia accept for the wineries

Are you landing in Sydney. I would also stay there for a couple of nights.

Shangri-La has the best views of both the opera house, harbour and bridge. A great first stop.

Of course you are welcome to stay with us or go to our apartment on the Sunshine Coast.:p
