We will be heading here on saturday! Can not wait! Anyone who just recently stayed here, anything good or bad to say?? We are still trying to find a place to walk to, to pick up pre-cruise beer! Any ideas? We called the Walgreens, they do not sell beer..Thanks for any info!

Thanks for the heads up! Another post about the Hyatt, awhile back, mentioned a Liquor store across the street? Do you recall seeing it? Maybe they have beer? We are in Michigan,so we are used to beer on every corner!

If the Walgreen's doesn't sell beer, you may have to take a cab. That seemed like the only convenience store, etc., in the area.

Well, not beer really, but Sandi always takes enough Diet Coke

on the cruise for her needs. I hope that Walgreens has that!

Any information on reasonable restaurants (we don't

need fancy) near the hotel? I noted another reviewer

suggested that the food inside the hotel was expensive.

Thanks for your help.

It is a short walk or even shorter taxi ride over to Bayside Market Place where you will find national chain restaurants, local restaurants and even a food court with all kinds of fast food.

Thanks for the information. In a way, I've answered my own question

by going to Google Maps (maps.google.com). By zooming in on

Miami and the Hyatt, it is easy to have the map program

show things like "liquor" (for that beer someone wanted),

"sundries" (other things), and even "cigars" (to help enjoy those

long sea days on the balcony of our cabin). The information

is very helpful.

Again, thanks for the suggestion about the Bayside.
