World Cup

Recommended Posts

I'm sure it will be on some of the TVs at sports bars and other places around the ship. Americans are the only ones who say, "The What?" or, "World Cup, is that being played now?"

My DH has watched European football (aka soccer) and stuff like that. We haven't been on a cruise during World Cup, or he would have watched that, also. He usually strikes up a conversation with the bar tender, who is following the sports.

We will be on the Dream this Sunday during the World Cup and my oldest was wondering if they will show the World Cup?

Thanks

this was covered in a couple of threads yesterday. Best bet is to head for Guest Services or corner Gary, the CD, on boarding and put in your request. It's up to the CD and Entertainment staff as to what gets played on the big screen.

Remeber the times of the match are in the middle of the afternoon and it's a sea day for the Dream, so the Lido pool area could be crowded and there may be other actvities planned. But never hurts to ask.

Plus mid afternoon heat might make the cool Sports Bar area much more inviting.
