Wine In Alaska

Has anyone purchased wine in either Anchorage or Seward to bring on board? If so, how do the prices compare to shipboard prices? Are there any liquor stores convienent to the dock in Seward?

I've seen them confiscate bottles at security and return them at the end of the cruise but have also seen lots put in bags/purses with no problems.We have a couple of liquor stores not too far from the dock(within a mile), prices will be cheaper than on board, Anc will be cheaper than Seward.~~Good Luck and Enjoy Alaska~~
