Peggy's Cove and Whale watch out of Halifax with yourcab

No, Halifax is not a good area from which to watch whales. I don't even think they should do tours from there. You are better off by the Bay of Fundy.

 

Never heard of "yourcab", so can't comment on that.

If you do a search on the Ports - Canada board you will find info about yourcab. You could also search for other tour companies.

 

However, i would not recommend whale watching out of Halifax, even if it is offered. Come back on a land tour and go to the Bay of Fundy (Digby/Brier Island area) for the biggest whales. August is a good month though I went and saw them in mid July.
