Anyone do the Peggy's Cove and Whale watch out of Halifax with yourcab?

No, Halifax is not a good area from which to watch whales. I don't even think they should do tours from there. You are better off by the Bay of Fundy.

 

Never heard of "yourcab", so can't comment on that.

Nevermind. yourcab.com does not offer the Peggy's Cove/Whale Tour this year.

If you do a search on the Ports - Canada board you will find info about yourcab. You could also search for other tour companies.

 

However, i would not recommend whale watching out of Halifax, even if it is offered. Come back on a land tour and go to the Bay of Fundy (Digby/Brier Island area) for the biggest whales. August is a good month though I went and saw them in mid July.
