Jojo27 Posted July 20, 2011 #1 Share Posted July 20, 2011 Going on the Dawn in December and have a couple of question of questions- Barbados-We would like to swim with the turtles and NCL does not offer an excursion as of yet. Several recommended on the CC excursion site but unfamilar with the port in Barbados, assume there is only one so that all the tour companies are right there? Also wondering if anyone has been to Barbados in December and thoughts on the weather and water current? Any other "must do" excursions in either St Marrten, St Kitts or Antigua? Thanks! Just enter Cruise excursions in Barbados into Google and you will probably be able to find one that has swimming with the turtles. I think I did see one but cannot remember the name of the tour company. If you are sailing December 14th, join our roll call since we discuss tours we are planning. We'd love to have your imput, too. ;)

negn Posted July 21, 2011 #4 Share Posted July 21, 2011 When we ere in Barbados we used Cool Runnings for the turtle snorkle. It was great! At one point they had stopped taking cruise passengers but think they have restarted. In St marten we always go to Orient Beach In St kitts hooked up with a local tour . Went to batik factory which was interesting . Rest was ok. Then just walked around the port area. Lots of shops and eateries Done the southern a couple of times and you will love it. After a couple of days you realize you still have a whole week !
