We're staying here in December. Most of the reviews I saw on Tripadvisor was complaining about no elevator and no free shampoo. So we took a chance on it since it was $110 a night. I hope its a good choice!

I think you mean "SOFO", which stands for South Fortaleza (street).

Thank you, I finally found it. Duh!:o And after all that, they don't have any rooms available when we need them. Oh well. Does anybody else have recommendations for hotels in Old San Juan? My husband really wants to stay there.

Casablanca is always booked. Their lobby is really cool looking, but I can never get a room.

 

Maybe the Milano?

I was able to book the Casablanca this morning, from Hotels.com. When I looked this evening, they still had rooms available. I got it for $99. Good Luck.

Thank you, Tommy's Girl. They still don't show any vacancy for the date I will be in San Juan. I did find another hotel that sounds intriguing. Has anybody heard of Villa Herencia Hotel?
