day tour in Puerto Limon review

We just returned from the Celebrity Horizon 10 day Caribbean cruise (3/4/05-3/14/05). It was a great cruise! We had a private whole day tour while in Puerto Limon.

Christain is based in San Jose, but it was no problem for him to arrange our guide for the day in Puerto Limon. He used Puerto Viejo tours, Phonenumber: 829-8216, the guide was Junior Palmer. He was WONDERFUL to us!

 

We were in port from 7 AM- 6 PM. Our itinerary was Tortugueras canals, Banana plantation, Puerto Viejo and Cahuita National Park.

 

Our tour was private, included lunch, private boat tour (only 3 of us + the 2 guides) of the canals, stopping whenever and wherever we wanted to, grocery store, shopping for handmade jewelry in Puerto Viejo, stopping at a black sand beach... It was a wonderful day!

 

The cost was $110/person for the whole day and included lunch and all admission fees.

 

We loved our guide, Junior, he was very friendly and informative.

 

Christian was great and very professional to email with. I highly recommend his agency for a tour while in Puerto Limon. You won't be disappointed!
