Motel in Ft. Lauderdale

Any suggestions on a place to stay that's near the pier in Ft. Lauderdale? my friends and I are taking our first ceuise on 11/26/05. RCL "Enchantment of the Seas"

Try the Holiday Inn Ft Lauderdale-Airport. They have a shuttle to the Port of the Everglades it costs $10, they also have a shuttle from the airport. We booked on Orbitz and got a good rate.

Also a suggestion. Go to the pre-post hotel board. There is a wealth of info there.

We like the Best Western Marina, they pick you up a the airport take you to the hotel then transport you to the ship on cruise day... plus a small complementry breakfast all inclusive in the room price. I always book at the corp site.They are also located real close to a water taxi stand that will enable you to travel to the "different" sections of Ft. Lauderdale.

We stayed at the Hyatt Pier 66 before our Enchantment cruise. Right on the intracoastal and across from the ship terminals.
