Got2BCruising Posted July 25, 2011 #1 Share Posted July 25, 2011 Does anyone know if the Enchantment of the Seas docks in Bermuda on the Port Side (left side)or Starboard Side (right side). Thanks. Barb
ThreeDogsCruising Posted July 25, 2011 #2 Share Posted July 25, 2011 I don't believe that there's any set side that a ship will dock with. It appears to be based on variables like ship maintence, dockmaster requests, etc.
megr1125 Posted July 25, 2011 #3 Share Posted July 25, 2011 50/50---just book the cabin you want.....you never know what way the ship will dock.......
wingnutphl Posted July 25, 2011 #4 Share Posted July 25, 2011 I don't think it really matters when docking at the Dockyard. Not much to see there.
KelJ Posted July 25, 2011 #5 Share Posted July 25, 2011 For what it's worth, three weeks ago the Explorer docked with starboard side facing King's Wharf, while an NCL ship behind us was docked portside facing King's Wharf. Our balcony on the Explorer was starboard side, and it was nice to be able to look out and see the hustle/bustle when we were onboard.
Clancy14 Posted July 25, 2011 #6 Share Posted July 25, 2011 Been to Bermuda five (5) times on Explorer and Summit in the past 2 years. Every time the port side was against the dock/pier. No guarantee, of course as the OP's stated, but either view is nice. No one spends a lot of time on the balcony in port, because you get to be on the island instead!!!! - Miriam
