boattoinspire Posted March 23, 2005 #1 Share Posted March 23, 2005 I will be cruising on the Carnival Legend this November. My family and I are booked in 8C aft cabins (4239, 4241, 4232). Does anyone know how large these balaconies are? Is there noise from the dining below? Would it be beneficial to try to upgrade to a higher level of aft cabins if they become available? Thanks! serene56 Posted March 23, 2005 #2 Share Posted March 23, 2005 Being closer to the water is what appeals to us- We had an aft on the Miracle. (same class as the Legend) http://community.webshots.com/photo/231082601/283578778xGRsek your view from the balcony= http://community.webshots.com/photo/231082601/283585957lnziFZr view from inside the cabin- http://community.webshots.com/photo/231082601/283586871epPvAZ he dividers can be opened - as soon as you board some one should head to the pursers desk to ask to have them opened to make one huge balcony. But do know that once it is opend you are kinda stuck.
boattoinspire Posted March 23, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted March 23, 2005 Serene56, Thanks so much for the info and the pic links! Looks like we will be more than happy with our view and balconies. We will defintely try to get the dividers opened as soon as we board.
serene56 Posted March 23, 2005 #4 Share Posted March 23, 2005 The request for the dividers to be opened must be made through the Pursers desk- Cabin stewards can no longer do this. (dont know if its only on the spirit class or not. plus only a limited number can be opened.. that is why I suggested that someone head to thePursers desk as soon as you get onboard.
