Local Pub?

We are looking for a local pub. We'd like to spend an evening with the local Bermudians. How are the pubs near the dock? Are they full of cruisers or do locals partake? Anything in Hamilton? :p

The Hog Penny in Hamilton is an authentic Bermuda pub.

 

Realistically, when cruise ships are in port, you have to expect passengers to be a big percentage of the crowd at, say, the Frog and Onion in the Dockyard. The Dockyard is all the way at one end of the island and not in a city like Hamilton or even a town like St. George's.

Pickled Onion is another good spot to get a drink and usually has some locals in it. Located on Front Street on the second floor. It is right near the Hog Penny, which is very good also.
