Formal night

I understand on a 6 night cruise there are 2 formal nights, are lobsters on the menu for both nights. Also I read on carnivals website you could now wear certain shorts to the dining room on non formal night. Just a couple years ago there was a big debate over jeans, now shorts are allowed, personally I think it is great but I;m sure there are a lot that dont like it.

Lobster (and shrimp dish) only on the menu on the FIRST elegant night (2nd night usually has the escargot and chateaubriand and other goodies). Yes - people are now wearing shorts and jeans to the MDR on non-formal nights (and even on formal ones as well!)
