Guide in Dubrovnik you don't want to deal with

We had made arrangements with a guide, Pepo Klaic, for a full day tour of Dubrovnik many months in advance (saw his name on the Rick Steves boards). He continued to contact us with Christmas wishes and other messages throughout the next months. I contacted him about month before our cruise to confirm again with him. After about 2 weeks, he finally responded and told me he lost my reservation and took another booking. (The day in Dubrovnik was my 50th birthday and he had promised to make it special and perfect.) Sorry, he said, can't help you! I made arrangements at the last minute and had a lovely day, despite his carelessness.

Guess what...he just contacted me again to add me to his Linked (??)connection. I sent him a response and said, "did you forget or what, what you did to me for my birthday?" I told him to stop contacting me in the future.

Kinda like insult to injury...now he can find my name and info.

Anyway, BEWARE of making a reservation with him.

(I have retained all of my contacts with him as proof)

Rick Steves website,,or written,,re this,,so that name can be removed from his boards...it s important to follow up ,,so others don t have same unlucky experience...;)
