jarand Posted July 31, 2011 #1 Share Posted July 31, 2011 I am very confused about this. We'll be there in October on the Triumph out of Galveston. Will the times be the same, or??? Thanks!
Rare bsbcgirl Posted August 1, 2011 #2 Share Posted August 1, 2011 They will be different. I think Cozumel is an hour earlier, than the ship's time. The ship is on Eastern time. If the ship time is 10:00 am, then Cozumel time will be 9:00 am.
bucknme Posted August 1, 2011 #3 Share Posted August 1, 2011 Actually, Galveston and New Orleans are on the same time zone as Cozumel. We are all Central time zone.
Rare Oviedo32765 Posted August 1, 2011 #4 Share Posted August 1, 2011 Every cruise I've taken to Cozumel has left from Florida (Eastern Time Zone). Some cruise lines change to local time and some don't. Can't remember what NCL does. Just make sure you synchronize your watch to ship's time before you get off for the day. If you're not sure about the time, make sure you ask at the Purser's desk before departing. Don't want to be standing on the pier waving goodbye to your ship! agc291 Posted August 4, 2011 #6 Share Posted August 4, 2011 Actually, Galveston and New Orleans are on the same time zone as Cozumel. We are all Central time zone. I believe October it is the same time, but Cozumel doesnt follow day light savings so it depends on the time of year.
