Ship Time vs Cozumel Time

I am very confused about this. We'll be there in October on the Triumph out of Galveston. Will the times be the same, or???

They will be different. I think Cozumel is an hour earlier, than the ship's time. The ship is on Eastern time. If the ship time is 10:00 am, then Cozumel time will be 9:00 am.

Actually, Galveston and New Orleans are on the same time zone as Cozumel. We are all Central time zone.

Every cruise I've taken to Cozumel has left from Florida (Eastern Time Zone). Some cruise lines change to local time and some don't. Can't remember what NCL does. Just make sure you synchronize your watch to ship's time before you get off for the day. If you're not sure about the time, make sure you ask at the Purser's desk before departing. Don't want to be standing on the pier waving goodbye to your ship!

I believe October it is the same time, but Cozumel doesnt follow day light savings so it depends on the time of year.

Looks like New Orleans and Cozumel will both be CST.
