S&S Cruisers 1983 Posted August 2, 2011 #1 Share Posted August 2, 2011 I'm torn if this is a good cabin or not and would like some input. I like the idea of the extended balcony but is it too noisy of a location? Did the cabins that look down over you bother you? Would you book one of these again? We may have it for 2 weeks so any input would be appreciated!
MsSoCalCruiser Posted August 2, 2011 #2 Share Posted August 2, 2011 I can't answer for your cabin location but I had 5270 which is an aft extended balcony and I loved it. Sorry I couldn't help you more.
jsmac3 Posted August 2, 2011 #3 Share Posted August 2, 2011 We love those cabins - we have 5124 booked for the 9/23/2011 sailing and always booked one in that area during our four cruises on the Pride. We find them convenient and hardly ever have to wait for an elevator. Sometimes you can faintly hear activity from the theater during the late night comedy shows, but never too loud. jsmac3 Posted August 2, 2011 #4 Share Posted August 2, 2011 I'm sorry I didn't answer your question about people looking down on you from above - that is not a problem. I think you will love the extra room on the balcony.
Irishlinny Posted August 2, 2011 #5 Share Posted August 2, 2011 The extended balconies are 2 feet deeper (not any longer), so you have more leg room...they are nice. If people above look over their railings, they can only see you if you're at your railing...not if you are sitting down. Can't help with the noise issue as we always book aft on Spirit Class ships. You have cabins above and below you, so should be fine. The only noise you may hear is if you're very close to the atrium and they have any kind of musical function down there....
