Catch fish and eat it on shore???

My son and I would like to find an excursion where we snorkel, catch our food and then have a guide cook it for us on shore. Is there such a thing? Who can you recommend?

I don't know if they have snorkel/fishing/beach BBQ on Caye Caulker, but they do on Ambergris Caye. I am not sure you have enough time to do this on the cruise days. That pretty much is a 6-8 hour trip to get that all in.

But you can take the water taxi to Caye Caulker and head up toward the split where Carlos and a couple of other guys are grilling their morning catch.

 

I believe the fishing boats out of San Pedro offer the eat you catch option for dinner. I doubt you'd have time even flying to do it but it never hurts to ask.
