How's the wifi on Jade

It has been a couple of years and a generation of computers since we were aboard Jade. Any recent Jade cruiser who signed up for the Internet minutes package for his or her own computer, please comment on whether the wifi is good enough to make a package worthwhile. On our cruise we are one deck up from the Internet cafe and just on the other side of the ship. Can we hope to attach to the wifi in our room?

We're just off the Jade. We got wireless no problem. It was definitely slower than we're used to, but it worked.

We were on the Jade in April and I used my laptop in the room with just a few connection issues. I was generally happy with the service I got and thought it was faster then previous experiences using wifi on some of the Princess ships.

 

We were on deck 9 toward the back of the ship. I saw people using laptops in lounges and on deck as well so coverage must be pretty good. I never took my laptop out of the room though and really just used it sparingly to "check in" back home.
