I will be porting in Saint Johns and wanted to go to St. Martins. I don't want to rent a car. Is there any public transportation and if so what would be the cost.

St. Martins is 50 minutes from ship and there is no public transportation. Aside from a car rental, your only other options would be a tour from a local tour operator such as http://www.freedomtours.com/shore-excursions-in-a-around-saint-john-new-brunswick or to hire a taxi at $50 per hour.
