Wheelchair Accesible Bathroom NCL Dawn

We're cruising with my elderly in-laws on the Dawn this October. My mother-in-law needs to be able to wheel the wheelchair into the bathroom. My father-in-law spoke with NCL and asked about the threshold INTO the bathroom - anyone know how high it is? (I would think there wouldn't be a threshold into the bathroom in a HC cabin, but who knows!)

Thanks!

If you booked an Accessible HC Cabin than the bathroom is fully wheelchair compliant with a zero threshold entry and shower. However if you booked a non accessible cabin the bathroom will have a step up and unable to accomodate a wheelchair.

One question you need to know before you board is whether or not your parents are in an accessible room. If they have reserved a standard room the wheelchair will not fit through the cabin door. Also a standard room has little storage space for the chair which must be stored inside the room. Some ships (I've never sailed with NCL) have both completely accessible rooms (wider entry door, flat bath access also with wide door, roll in shower, and adequate storage space for the wheelchair) and modified rooms (with a wider entry door) which are not necessarily larger nor are you assured of having a flat access bath. You need to get this data and then see if there is still a cabin which meets their needs.

They booked a handicap accessible balcony and we're two doors down in a regular balcony. He had spoken to the accessibility desk and they couldn't tell him if there was a threshold or not into the bathroom. Which is why I asked here ;)
