Tortola to Virgin Gorda?

Hi

 

Has anyone taken the ferry from Tortola to Virgin Gorda or taken an excursion to Virgin Gorda?

 

Can you tell me about it? How do you go about doing this?

 

Any other suggestions for Tortola?

It's been since 2003 when we were last there, but as I recall, there are two ferrys from Tortola to Virgin Gorda, Speedys and another one that I can't recall. It's about a 45 minute ferry ride to Virgin Gorda. I do not know the cost since we took a ship's excursion to the Baths. However, since the ship docks in Tortola, at least ours did, you can catch the ferry right there.

 

You might try going to the "Caribbean" site under Pports of Call on this web site, and do a search ref Tortola and Virgin Gorda. You'll probably be able to find some updated information.
